Building and restoring forests for global impact
Ja.Ca.Mbé Afforestation and
Reforestation Project
Our purpose
Addressing global environmental challenges, improving the lives of the local community, one tree at a time.
Environment
ENVIRONMENT
The role that afforesation and reforesatation has to play in the fight against climate change is indisputable.
Through the Ja.Ca.Mbé, we will be planting over 40 million Acacia Mangium trees on approximately 40,000 hectares of degraded land to create a carbon sink that will help us to produce carbon credits. This initiative falls in line with Kyoto Protocol, and the objectives stated by UN for 2030 and 2050 for carbon emissions neutralisation, and will significantly contribute to the restoration of ecological ecosystems and the absorption of carbon dioxide, while also playing a role in the global energy transition.
Community
COMMUNITY
Ja.Ca.Mbé is not merely an ecological initiative; it is a project dedicated to enhancing the lives of the local residents in the region.
Through various initiatives, we aim to assist local farmers in improving their cultivation practices. This support fosters more sustainable farming methods, which in turn helps to propel the economic growth of the region. The local community make up the DNA of the project, being deeply involved in decision-making processes.
Carbon Credits
CARBON CREDITS
The primary aim of this Ja.Ca.Mbé is to generate Carbon Credits, which function as a trading tool enabling entities to offset their emissions. These credits represent a practical and ethical approach to fulfilling green objectives worldwide, promoting environmental sustainability while fostering economic growth. Explore opportunities to engage with this initiative and contribute to the global effort towards a greener future.
