Renco Green, a Renco-owned entity, is incorporated under Congolese law. Renco has been operating in the Congo for 20 years.

On November 29, 2022, Renco Green, signed a concession for the afforestation and reforestation project with the Ministry of Forest Economy of the Republic of Congo. 

The project falls within the framework of the National Afforestation and Reforestation Program (PRONAR, Programme Nationale d’Afforestation et de Remboisment) promoted by the Ministry of Forest Economy.

The Ja.Ca.Mbé Afforesation and Reforesation Project is operated by Renco Green, a Renco-owned entity incorporated under Congolese law. Renco Green, signed a concession for the reforestation project with an initial duration of 30 years, renewable for another 30 years, with the Ministry of Forest Economy of the Republic of Congo. Renco Green has the concession for carbon sales in markets and sustainability ecosystems.

Ja.Ca.Mbé follows the Gold Standard requirements to obtain verified certification. Adhering to the Gold Standard means certifying the project for the Global Goals. This enables the project to be designed for maximum positive impact and quantifies outcomes toward climate security and sustainable development most credibly.
